We have a sign at the door!!! It's undeniably the best sign in the alley.
Natalie held some trial classes for Carve Between the Lines to make sure things are operating smoothly and we have everything we need ready before we have paying students come in. Everything went pretty well, we've made a few changes to make the classroom more comfortable. Everyone seemed to have a good time and everyone made really great prints, I felt a bit intimidated by all the art school students and alums (I learned everything I know about drawing while I was in mechanic school) but I muddled through the creative process. In other news we have a website now (you probably know this already because you're on it), I'll try to keep this updated but most likely I'll forget all about it and nobody will ever see it. Work on The Dungeon continues, the classroom is coming along nicely, we need to build some shelves/drying rack for wet prints, the furniture needs to be painted, and the floor needs to be coated. The bathroom is now fully functional with a shower, toilet, urinal, and sink. A few doors need to be hung, and a lot of tile/painting/aesthetic work is left there. The progress lately is very exciting and I'll try to keep it going. I hope to have more classes and events there soon. -Tim
